My dear friend from Canada recently had a trip to New York with her husband and she told me all about her wonderful trip. This is her second time in New York but this was the first time she went there by plane. Her first trip to New York was an adventure because they drive through and line up in the Canadian border but this time she and her hubby along with her stepdaughter flew from Montreal to New York and she told me it was a short but a lovely trip. They took JFK Airport Shuttle service to go around the city and it was such a delightful experience because they were able to explore all the beauty of that lovely city. NY is my favorite city and I dream of going there at least once in my lifetime, I just think it’s an interesting city where everything is happening so fast and it’s a bubbly city too where all the glamor and fascinating events happens. I also love its busy surroundings and I want to experience standing at the center of Times Square and let people and time pass me by. I miss my dear friend and her stories made me remember the times I spent with her and it’s sad that she’s far from me now but I’m glad we were able to keep the friendship.

Tomorrow is my special day. I originally have no plans to celebrate my birthday and I just wanted a simple dinner with my family but since I have been sick everyone was so eager to throw me a party. I’m not in the celebrating mood, this is the first birthday I have that doesn’t feel like my birthday. I don’t know. I must not feel this way because I have been so blessed and there’s just so many things to be thankful about but I’m just not in the partying mood. If I have my way I would rather travel in a faraway place and isolate myself, I guess I’m still in a depressing mode.

I hate to count the days that I’m stuck in my room doing almost nothing. Sometimes I am too weak to even go online and I just lay down in bed all day and all night long. I feel so helpless but I am finding ways to fight boredom and I think of a happy place that I’ll rather be and right now I just want Disney vacations so that I can feel how it’s like to be a child again and be unhappy no more.

I often post about how I love to travel and I just can’t explain how wonderful it is to be traveling to places I love to see. I even made a list of the places I want to see in my lifetime and hopefully I can be able to travel to all of them and discover the amazing beauty of the world. Included in my list of fascinating places to travel is Spain, I think since my country was colonized by the Spaniards for so long our cultures, even some of our languages are quite the same and I am very fond of their food and I even know how to cook most of their specialty. I definitely want to see Spain and I don’t mind if I stay in ccheap hotels as long as it is decent, presentable and nice. I won’t be staying much in hotels anyway as long as I’m traveling and touring the place, it’s alright. If given a chance to travel to Spain, I definitely wouldn’t miss the chance to see Madrid and stay in Madrid Hotels from Destinia, a Spanish online travel agency that is now introducing English for a wider range of people who want a nice guide to visit Spain. It is my long time dream to go to New York. I just love that place so much. I’m not sure if I was influenced by Sex and the City but I actually want to try and live on my own in New York. Well, I know it’s a long shot but I know someday I can come for a visit and explore the many exciting attractions in New York.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully I’ll be chosen by my company to go to the United States for a three-month training. I’m really praying for that, it’s a big leap for my career and I am too eager to visit my family in California. When I told my aunt about the internship, she’s more excited than I was and she’s been planning our trips already. Most of my family members are in California but I also have an aunt in Florida and New Jersey. I personally requested that if ever our plans pushed through I want to have a grand tour of New York, maybe by NYC Bus Charters that have excellent and luxurious facilities on board to make sure that my trip will be as comfortable as possible. I am truly excited and hopefully, it’ll come true.

Sharing some pictures from my recent trip to Singapore. It’s my first time to ride the Sky Tower and for someone who has a fear of heights, I think I enjoyed it so much… It’s also my first time to watch the magnificent Songs of the Sea and I was left mesmerized…

My college friends and I are planning our ultimate trip together. We all love to travel and we see to it that we get to visit the places we want to see and we’re lucky that we’re almost half our list. We all want to travel while we’re young and we can still enjoy it but we need to work extra hard to afford it especially if we plan to have European cruises in the next five years. Arghh, I love traveling so much.

Green is out and brown is in. Now, that the Philippines switched to machine-readable passports. I have to renew my passport since I’m traveling to Singapore in the next few weeks. My passport is not yet expired but I just want to have the new one before I travel again. I’m excited to see my best friend again in Singapore, she’s five months pregnant but I think she can still go around the city with us. We may have a side trip to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok as well as Bintan, Indonesia. I’m so excited.
