It’s brand new week and since it’s a non-working holiday today I just spend the entire day watching TV and some DVDs. I also get to clean my files and after a long while I was able to burn my travel pictures. I’m not really in the mood for blogging today. I guess, I’m still feeling bad about the results of my laboratory tests. Yes, my results didn’t turn out very well and it seems I am sicker than ever and I have to take new medicines and worse I was given a higher dose of steroids again, so I must say goodbye for the slimmer body I have right now. I honestly don’t want to think about it but it’s the only thing that’s been going through my mind lately. I tried doing other things just to keep my mind from worrying about my lupus condition.

I have so many things to do, a lot of work that needs to be accomplish since I am leaving for Singapore this weekend. I also need to shop for the things that I need to bring on my trip. I need to somehow uplift my spirit and stay optimistic. I had very tiring day. I spent my whole day in the hospital, don’t worry I’m alright but it’s my monthly check up and I had my complete blood test and urinalysis today. I tried to be patient, I tried to stay calm even though I am already hungry because of the required 12-hour fasting but waiting is really not my strongest point, after several hours I already became irritable but I was able to hold myself together. After the laboratory tests, I went to the nearest mall to meet with my brother. We had a small gathering last night to celebrate my seventh spiritual birthday. It was a lot of fun and I love being around the people I respect and care a lot so much. It’s nice to see them again after being isolated for awhile because of my prolonged illness. Everyone was so surprised to see me, they just couldn’t believe how much weight I lost and everyone asked if I took any safe diet pills or if I have a special diet. My aunt treated us in a luxurious restaurant for dinner and goodness, we had a fabulous time. I just love the ribeye steak I had made from Angus beef, my nightly diet was ruined but who cares I just love that

steak so much. The taste was magnificent, it’s a bit pricey but I do love the ambiance of the restaurant.

Anyway, my aunt is staying with us for a couple of weeks she’s been residing in Sacramento, CA for almost twenty years now but she frequently visit the Philippines every now and then. She’s been working as a legal secretary and she’s set to retire in just a few months and she asked for my mom’s help to browse for some properties here, so that she and her husband can stay here longer as soon as they retire. She’s been ranting about her work and she just can’t wait to retire, I guess doing the same thing for such a long time can be a drag. She’s also in search for a sacramento probate lawyer because her mother-in-law recently died and I think they’re going to inherit something. Wish I could inherit something ^-^

A nice dinner to end a special day.

My aunt from California is staying with us for a few weeks for her vacation. I just love it when she’s here with us because we go to a lot of exciting places and not to mention the shopping galore. She even gave me something from my cousin a new perfume by Paris Hilton. I feel glad because my cousin remembered me and she knew that I love perfume and I got a huge collection of it. I don’t really like Paris Hilton, because I think she’s overrated but you have to agree with me when I say she’s so lucky that she’s born with so much wealth. She doesn’t even need to work to have everything she wants in her life and as heiress she will inherit all her parents’ riches. What a lucky girl! If only I can have some inheritance like her, I would probably acquire heir loans right now to help me cope up with the rising cost of my medicines.

Anyway, my aunt will be treating us tonight for dinner and I’m so thrilled.

As a music lover, I always have my ipod with me everywhere I go. I remember back when I was still having chemo therapy as an out-patient, my ipod has been my only friend, singing Christian mp3’s really helped me survived those agonizing days. I just can’t imagine life now without ipods, it’s just too easy and too handy. We all need music in our lives.
