Web Host Reviews

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

I have a new domain site, twisted-angel.info this is my third domain but I opt to choose a new web hosting service simply because I am always experiencing downtime in my current web host provider so I searched for the best web host provider available today and I consulted with web hosting reviews to find out the best web host that I can get. The site is very informative and useful, for someone who is thinking of getting a web host or who wants to transfer their site to a new web host make sure to read the reviews first so that you can choose wisely. I choose Bluehost, the editor’s choice and so far I love it and what’s ideal with bluehost is that I can transfer all my domain site for free and I can have unlimited domain site in just a single web host, that’s a great deal, don’t you think?

Track You Down

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

I’m not very good in directions. Well, I’m not very good at it at all. Whenever I drive to a new place, I always need to stop and ask for directions over and over again because I always manage to get lost. That is why I am thankful for the new technology of GPS Tracking, now I can always find my way and I avoid getting lost. But the thing is I’m not really comfortable with the idea that my mom can track my whereabouts using this tool, it’s not that I’m doing something I’m ashamed of or anything but I still want to keep my privacy and I don’t want anyone to track me down.

My mom uses GPS tracking device in her mobile phone to track down my younger brother whenever he comes home late, he hates it of course because he cannot lie or give some alibi if he’s going to be so late but that’s the consequence he has to face for being young. I don’t approve of it, of course but what can I do. I do love this tool and I applaud the technology but sometimes it has some downside to it, like losing your privacy when you really need it. But I still think, it is an effective and useful tool.

I’m not Vain

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

I’m currently contagious and I cannot go out because I might infect somebody with my virus. I’m bored to death and I’m starting to be irritated. What’s worse is that every time I see myself in the mirror and the blisters in my forehead are starting to dry up but I’m not sure if they’re going to leave a nasty permanent mark, I will definitely hate that. I don’t really consider myself vain but I am conscious with how I look and I like to take care of myself. I always try to squeeze in my busy schedule, a day of pampering and a day devoted for me alone. A trip in the spa, having a whole body massage or having facial treatment with my dermatologist, among many girly stuff. Well, maybe I’m a bit of vain afterall. Now, as I stare myself at the mirror I’m worried that this “shingles” will make a permanent mark on my face and I’m quite sure it won’t look good at all. I’m hoping against hope that it won’t and it would just heal by itself. I’ve been staying at home for almost four days now and I’m beginning to be restless, it’s a good thing I can shop online at Beauty Warehouse and it takes away the boredom that I’m feeling.

Heart Attack

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

My favorite uncle died of heart attack three years ago. We never thought he could have a heart attack because we didn’t really know its symptoms. His first cardiac arrest was when I was rushed to the hospital and found me barely breathing almost seven years ago, it was sudden and he was immediately was rushed to the emergency room. The cardiologist said he was lucky that he was treated right away otherwise it could have been fatal. He died after his third cardiac arrest and my family is now very keen on finding out the symptoms of a heart attack, to find out if we are at risk or even find ways to somehow prevent it from happening.

Don’t Be Left Behind

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

You can find almost everything on the internet. If you need to find something, just search on it on the search engine and a wide selection of what you’re looking for will suddenly pop up your result page. This is what I love most in the internet, the infinity of information is just out there to be discovered. Technology is something we deal with everyday. I, for one cannot imagine myself without my cell phone. I can probably survive a day or two without the internet but that’s not the case with my mobile phone. I depend on it and I use it primary to communicate with my family, friends and business associates. And now, I can even take pictures and even record a video with it. I can even listen to music and watch movie in it. Amazing, isn’t it? The mobile world is fast changing, that is why MobileTech can help you update on what’s going on out there in the mobile world, so that you won’t be left behind.

Gum Disease

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

Did you know that you can get gum disease even after your teeth have been removed? People who wear dentures can get irritation in their gum tissues underneath their dentures

Bacteria can grow there and the gums can become inflamed and infected.

Just like your original teeth, dentures need to be cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. They should be removed at night so that bacteria will not get a chance to grow.

Did you know that even though you are wearing dentures, you still need to see a dentist regularly? Changes in how your dentures fit can make it possible for you to be vulnerable to gum disease developing. If your dentures no longer fit properly, your gums can become irritated, inflamed, and infected. Call your dentist and make an appointment for a checkup as soon as possible!

Boys Have Fun Too

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

I was chatting last night with my cousins from Sacramento, CA and he said they’ll be treating their father for a boy’s night out on his 50th birthday this year. My uncle (his father) is a big fan of rodeo and his fascination lead my cousins to give him National Finals Rodeo tickets for his birthday. National Finals Rodeo is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, it is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States. This 10-day event is sponsored by Wrangler Jeans, and is usually called National Finals. It will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the first full week of December. This could be a fun event, I’m sure it will be exciting to watch real cowboys in action. I’ve only watched rodeo on TV and it seems scary. I remembered watching something on amazing videos on how the rider was being thrown out and its terrifying scene, I’m sure it’s going hurt too. But still a Cowboy Christmas will surely be a fun event, a different side of Las Vegas I might add. Personally, I’m not sure if I can watch it live, I might just scream all throughout but I’m sure my cousins and my uncle will definitely enjoy their moment together, surely a boy’s night out.

Earth Hour in Manila

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Manila took part at Earth Hour. I was still at the mall with my mom when the malls and most of the streets in Manila joined the world for one hour of darkness. It’s nice to be a part of a global campaign to raise awareness on climate change. It may be insignificant or nothing was really achieved in just an hour of partial darkness but anything to somewhat help save the earth from global warming will do.
