Social Marketing

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

I recently join Social Spark, another awesome offering from IZEA the same genius behind PPP. Honestly, I don’t really want to join there because I don’t fully understand the concept and I thought it was complicated. But I do trust IZEA, since PPP is such a huge success to bloggers and advertisers alike. I have benefited so much with PPP and I never encountered a problem with them so even with hesitations and doubts I joined social spark. I am starting to realize now that it is a social media that allows you to gain friends from all walks of life and I have found some interesting people there that I really find amusing and exciting. The nice part of being a part of IZEA is that it continues to bring bloggers and advertisers together so that they can interact more and know the specific needs of each and everyone. Now, you can earn some money and you can get to know a lot of different people worldwide, isn’t that exciting? IZEA offers a wide array of opportunities to blog about and it’s so simple and easy. Now, with enhanced social media marketing services it will surely bring out the best in blog advertising.

Linky Love Updated

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

I updated my blogroll yesterday and I removed some dead links. I also deleted some blogs who never visited my blog for almost three months, I just don’t want to be linked to anyone who does not even know me. I also found out several links that does not link back to me, that’s really rude! I’m still open for link exchange but I’m limiting it to bloggers that I feel is sincere and not just for anyone who just wants to increase their ratings for monetizing their blog. I want some quality links not just any links. Am I being to snobbish, well, maybe I am but I don’t really care.

Updating my Linky Love

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

I’m currently updating and cleaning my Linky Love. I’m removing the links who have not visited me in ages, I don’t want to be rude but I just don’t want to be linking to anyone who does not even bother to say hello once in a while. So if I deleted you and you feel you’re not supposed to be removed, just leave me a message. I’m also adding some new links for my new blogger friends.

Happy Tuesday to all!

Twisted Angel

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

I have a new blog…

Twisted Angel

This is my fifth blog and my third domain site. Yeah, I’m not quite sure how I can still handle having another site but what the heck I just love working on a new site and maybe you’re wondering why I have chosen the name Twisted Angel, well, it has nothing to do with the song of Le Ann Rimes but I just feel that even though I’m a devoted Christian, my thoughts about God can be twisted… well, basically this is just a different side of me that will probably surprised those who really knew me. Hope you can check it out sometime. It’s still on its constructing stage, but I’ll appreciate your visit very much. I also have a new web host and I just feel I won’t be experiencing too much of a downtime and it’s affordable too, so why not get yourself your own domain and host it with bluehost…

One Year of Dancing

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

I’m celebrating my 1st anniversary here at Dancing With Butterflies.
How time passed by so quickly and in lieu of my first blogoversary I’ll be having a new look very soon and I’m also removing my current linky love and deleting anyone who has not visited me for the past three months. I’m sorry but I just have to do that.
I’m so looking forward for another year of prosperous blogging and thank you for dancing with me.

Flash Components

Friday, May 9th, 2008

Maybe you noticed that I changed back my theme, I just miss my header so much that I decided to have it back. Since my blog crashed when I upgraded my wordpress, I’ve been trying to redo my entire blog and decided to retain its original template. The sidebar still needs a lot of work and it would be nice if I could add some flash components to enhance the look of my site. I just think adding flash components to a website makes it more appealing and attracts more visitors. Now, if only I could find time to finish updating this blog, hopefully over the weekend I can get things rolling again.

Wordpress Update

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

Just a few weeks ago, I updated my Wordpress to 2.5 and I’m still trying to get used to it. I’m not yet familiar with its features and to what it can do, and quite honestly I feel lost, I miss my old dashboard but since the internet keeps changing, I need to cope up with these changes. Imagine my dismay, when I notice that my Wordpress 2.5 needs to be updated again with Wordpress 2.5.1. I’m not sure I want to update now, I’m getting tired already. How many updates will there be anyway? Will it affect my blog if I don’t update my WP version?

Why Do You Blog?

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

I remembered when I first started to join Paid Blogging, at first I was hesitant I didn’t really believe that I could earn real money with blogging but after constant persuasion from some friends I tried my luck in Blog Advertising. Maybe some of you might think it’s an easy job and easy money but the truth is, it’s not. You really have to work hard too and give some thought and time in every post. You must also push your blog for higher rankings to have more opportunities. But you must also put in mind that blogging is not just a way of earning money from it but also to express yourself and discover unlimited possibilities of what lies beyond.

Confession of a Pro-Blogger

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

I have a confession. After being so active with pro-blogging, I got weary and frustrated when I lost my PR4 in here and in my Just Let Go blog, my only consolation was my Pieces of Me retained its PR3. I have to admit that I benefited so much with my high pagerank and it gave me a lot of OPP’s it inspired me so much everytime I receive payments through PayPal and I set my goal to reward myself with a laptop with my problogging money and in less than two months I was able to buy a laptop and then google suddenly penalized blogs who are into pro-blogging, that’s where I started to lose track and then of course, there’s the holidays and I got sick at the start of the year and then I got so busy with the preparation of my own business, and so on…

I don’t really know if that’s an excuse to get away from blogging but I just knew that I had to take off for awhile and get in touch with the real world (which I did) and now, slowly I am getting back on track I do miss blogging, and although I’m not  that too keen anymore with pro-blogging I’m still into it, I mean I  who would decline some moolah anyway… But I think I need to set some new goals and find some inspiration again to blog. I do miss blogging, but since I write better when I’m sad I’m having a hard time right now… why?? because, I am surprisingly happy and I’m not even sure why. I am suppose to be sad and miserable, after all I just ended a 10-yr relationship with someone I thought was the one for me but I don’t know if the pain hasn’t sink in yet or I’m just okay with or maybe I’m just numb about it… nah, I don’t know! What I do know is that I finished updating my two blogs and I just created a new blog “Blessed Chic” and now, its time to update this blog…

Internet Finds

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

I wanted to have my own website for so long and when I was searching for a webhost to for my own domain I wanted to find something that will fit right on my needs and has everything that I’ll ever need to have the website I’ve been dreaming of. I stumbled upon several links such as http://hostingaudioads.com/ and http://web-audio-ads.net  and I must say that it is such a wonderful finds. You might want to check it out and find something interesting and exciting.

Outstanding PPP Postie

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

One last post before I call it a night. For more than two weeks now, all of my task assignments for PayPerPost has been auto approved. It feels great and I love the idea that I won’t have to wait for a long time to have my posts approved. I don’t really know what happened but every time I post an entry for PPP I received this kind of message.

Hello Emmyrose,

Congratulations!! Your PayPerPost post, Internet Buff, has been automatically approved based on your high quality performance as a PPP Postie!

Congrats again on being an outstanding PPP Postie!! And watch for more auto approvals!!

Thank you,

The PayPerPost Team

Fantastic, right? I only started to be active with PPP last month and I’m glad that I am able to earn from it a lot. I was hesitant at first to monetize my blog but I am starting to enjoy it now, especially now that I am earning quite a lot from it.

It started out when I clicked this banner from a friend’s blog and the rest is history. So, if you feel like you’re ready to join me into pro-blogging, sign up here and start earning too…

Link Exchange

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Last Sunday, on my desire to forget my “love crisis” I went blog hopping to all my Linky Love and I found out that some of those links doesn’t link back to me. Some of them I know was an honest mistake, probably it was just an technical error or something, that’s fine with me and I just reminded them. I don’t usually ask for someone to link my blog, unless I really like that blog and I want to exchange links with them. I think it’s just a fair deal that when you ask someone if they can link you, you must first link their blog as a sign of courtesy (I hate it when a certain blogger just hops to your blog out of nowhere then asks for a link exchange and when you visit their blog and tell them it’s okay, then they’ll come back to your blog and say “Okay, let me know if you already added me then I’ll add you” DUH! sorry I won’t link you at all)

Okay, now I’m ranting! I’ve deleted several links in my Linky Love, some that I know for a fact that they asked to be linked but somehow they didn’t link back to me, that’s really annoying! Well, if you found out you lost some of your technorati authority perhaps that came from me deleting your links.

There should be a rule in link exchange, but I think there’s already a silent rule among us bloggers out there that we should only exchange link if we are willing not only to link them but to also visit their site at least once in awhile. They are not just there to help you in your Technorati rank, but that should also be a start to get to know that blogger and be friends with them.

I’m still open for link exchange, that is the reason why I made a separate page out of my blogroll to make way for more links and to meet new interesting people every now and then. If you want to exchange links with me, comment on this post or leave me a tag or maybe email be about it and I will link you, provided that you will add me to your link too. I think that’s just fair.

Enough ranting, it’s almost midnight and I think it’s gonna be another sleepless night.

What’s with the Pagerank?

Saturday, November 3rd, 2007

I read about a lot of bloggers ranting about their page ranks and I don’t really know much about how page ranks are crucial to any bloggers until I started pro-blogging and since this blog and my other blog Just Let Go is just nearly four months old it didn’t have a page rank then and I didn’t qualify to most of the paid blogging sites. I was also limited to take OPP (opportunities) since most advertisers want a high ranking page rank. My first blog Pieces of Me was already four years old and already has a page rank of three but bravenet has so much limitations that I don’t expect it to go any higher.

Last week, I was quite busy with my birthday celebration that I didn’t really have time to focus on my blogs. It took a blogger friend to inform me that I already have a page rank of four in my two new blogs. I was so excited that I checked it out myself and I’m really glad, I was not expecting it to go up this high and I don’t really know why but I am glad. I just don’t know why other bloggers page rank went down the drain. Does it have to do with traffic or what?
