I consider myself blessed that I never experienced the fear of losing my home because my parents already made sure that we have our own house. Even when my parent’s relationship turned sour and decided to split up my mom made it certain that we will have our own house in that way we won’t be burdening ourselves in paying up the rent and worrying that we can be displaced anytime. My mom always told us the benefit of owning your own home and it’s a security investment that you can never lose. Now that I’m earning on my own I wanted to put my earnings in a secure and worthy investment something that will benefit me in the near future. I am now saving for my own car which I plan to acquire later this year and after that I plan to apply for mortgage in getting my own house. Not that I’m planning to leave home or anything but I just want to see where my earnings can take me and it will be such a big accomplishment once I am already a homeowner. I’m not really a plan ahead kind of person, since I have to consider the uncertainty of my lupus but I don’t see anything wrong in dreaming and wishing it’ll come true someday.
