Don’t Be Left Behind

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

You can find almost everything on the internet. If you need to find something, just search on it on the search engine and a wide selection of what you’re looking for will suddenly pop up your result page. This is what I love most in the internet, the infinity of information is just out there to be discovered. Technology is something we deal with everyday. I, for one cannot imagine myself without my cell phone. I can probably survive a day or two without the internet but that’s not the case with my mobile phone. I depend on it and I use it primary to communicate with my family, friends and business associates. And now, I can even take pictures and even record a video with it. I can even listen to music and watch movie in it. Amazing, isn’t it? The mobile world is fast changing, that is why MobileTech can help you update on what’s going on out there in the mobile world, so that you won’t be left behind.

Web Articles and Tutorials

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

I worked as a freelance writer for a magazine and eventhough I am an Engineer by profession, I know that I am a writer by heart. And as a writer I want to share my works especially those articles that I think will be helpful for others. I browsed and searched for sites where I can submit my articles and I found web articles directory, where you can submit unique-content articles that are not published anywhere else in the internet. I also found some great tutorials for Microsoft Office, I learned a lot from these articles and for someone who don’t really know how to use Word, Excel or even Powerpoint you can find all these articles and tutorials really helpful. I even learned a lot on Outlook on how to manage my time and schedule, I really need that so that I can maximize my time at work and when I’m online. I find it really helpful to learn how to create presentation using Powerpoint and I always find it difficult to work on spreadsheets on Excel but now I’m slowly learning how to use it. I also found MAC related articles, since I’m planning to get a MAC laptop very soon I want to learn and be able to be equipped on how to use it before purchasing it. It may sound complicated but once you read those articles and tutorials, you’ll somehow find your way.

I’m not really patient when it comes to dealing with those customer service agents, especially when I’m complaining about something I tend to easily get mad. But when most of my friends started working in call centers, I started to understand that they’re job is not easy at all. I learned more about when I read Customer service information and somehow I started to comprehend and somehow learn to be patient with them.

Book Lover

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

I love books. I started reading during second grade and I finished the Nancy Drew series in our school library in just a year and then I start collect books that I consider one of my valuable possessions. Over the years, my book collection grew I have books in fiction, non-fiction, self-help, Christian books, romance and even horror. All My Books are special to me and I found book organizer software that is truly helpful for me to organize my books according to category and I just love it. Now, it is much easier to find my books and it also helps me to avoid having the same book title twice. This is surely a must-have for all book lovers.

Lupus Summer Essential

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

sunblock-1.jpg Since lupus patients are sensitive in the sun and it can cause a flare among lupus patients, summer is a dreadful season for most of us. I used to just stay in my air-conditioned room and only get out when the sun sets. I hate it. Before I was diagnosed with lupus, summer was my favorite part of the year and I always hit the beach and swim. But with lupus, I had to stay away from the sun, the beach and every fun thing I used to do. Maybe I defied lupus a bit when I went into my summer escapade, stubborn as I am I just had to prove that eventhough I have lupus I can still do almost everything I want with precaution of course. And the most essential must-have for lupies is sunblock, make sure you’re protected always and just avoid direct sunlight, and have fun, we all deserve it.

A Good Life

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

Is there a formula in having a good life? Each and everyone of us is working real hard to save for the future, we all want to live well when it’s time to retire. When I was in my island getaway I met an elderly couple who were staying at the same hotel as we were and we had a chance to talk. I was so fascinated by their story. He said that they’ve been living in Sydney for the past 27 years and this is their first vacation back in the Philippines after thirty years and they fell in love with Boracay so they’re planning to settle there and retire luxuriously in that beautiful island. I can’t help but feel envious, I want that dream too. And I know that if I have to fulfill that dream I need to work hard and save for it. I still have a long way to go and finding an established trustee services company like Northern Trust will be a big help in fulfilling my dreams to settle and retire lavishly with the money I previously earned. It’s a just a matter of investing wisely and establishing a good relationship with your financial adviser so that you can be guided when making financial decisions that could determine your life.

Extreme Exhaustion

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

I’m not feeling well. I was half expecting this after my island escapade. But I am too happy to rant and too grateful to complain. I’m just glad that during those five days in Boracay my Lupus treated me well, I actually forgot that I was sick and doing those activities made me feel normal, like I’m just like everyone else. I somehow anticipated that as soon as I’m back home I will pay the price of extreme exhaustion and my feet were swollen and I can’t walk, but like I said I’m too happy to rant. I am just thankful for everything He has done.
