Yesterday, we took my favorite aunt to the airport. After her long vacation here in the Philippines she has to come back home to her family in Sacramento. Saying goodbye is always tough and although it is much easier to keep in touch in these modern times like chatting, exchanging emails, texting and most especially voice calls that are way much affordable now. Most of my relatives from the US purchase calling cards to call us and the wide variety of Philippines phone cards, they were able to choose the card that cost less but will give them enough time to talk to their loved-ones. It’s always difficult to see someone leave but because of modern technology these days, it’s so easy to stay in touch and remain close in heart no matter the distance.
