Accidents Don’t Just Happen

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

A friend once told me that she doesn’t believe in accidents, she believes that everything happens because it was meant to be. At some point I also believe that but there whether its destiny or accidents one thing is for sure most of the time we are caught off guard when some unavoidable things happen and our unpreparedness can bring us a lot of worry and burden. This is the reason why I like to equip myself with insurance, just for my peace of mind that no matter what happens to me everything will be just fine. I am not being paranoid or morbid but ever since I got sick and had faced death quite a couple of times I made it a point to secure myself and my family. Just this morning, I got the insurance policy I applied for and I personally think that I got the plan suited for my needs and I don’t need to have an accident or die to make use of it, it covers mainly my expenses if I get hospitalize and my laboratory expenses. Now, if only it can cover the medicines that I’ve been taking. Well, it always helps to be safe than sorry so why don’t you try and apply for an online insurance right now.

Annoying Technical Support

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

A few weeks ago, I had a problem with my DSL and it’s really annoying since I had a lot of things to accomplish. What’s more annoying is that their technical support was not at all supportive and based on past experience it could take ages before they fix the problem. The last time I had problems with my connection they replaced fiber optic cables since they said it was causing the problem with my DSL well, I just hope they can find a faster way to fix my connection now.

Future Investment

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

When I was still working in a multi-national company, part of our incentive was having a share of stocks in our company’s net income and since I have no idea on how the stock market works, I did some market research so that I could have an idea on what’s going on with my investment. I cannot say that I’m an expert already but at least now I know what’s going on out there and even though I have resigned a few years back because of Lupus, I still managed to keep my investment intact and hopefully it could earn me a fortune someday.

Something Red…

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

A tag from Arlene, very timely for VDay…

START COPY HERE

Here’s the rule:

1. Post YOUR photo wearing red, may it be a red top, bottom, the least would be red accessories if you hate wearing red… If you can’t find one, you still have an option…. Either post your Significant Other’s photo or your child’s photo, if you have one. Of course, they should be wearing red.

2. Let us know the reason why you were wearing red that particular day. Was it your birthday? Is red your fave color or was it the shirt that you first saw in your closet that day?

3. Tag 3 people close to your heart. By the way, they have to be in your blogroll. No cheating heart pleaseeeeeeee!

4. Once you’re tagged, could we please keep it going - just for this month?

END HERE

So, here I am wearing red during my birthday last year

I’m passing this tag to Marie, Yen, Rose, Lutchi, Bang and Milet

Hooked in PS3

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

My brother is into playing video games. I remembered when my mom brought him a playstation 1 he got so hooked to it and he mastered all the game. I got hooked as well and there was a time that I would sleep late at night just by playing. When I was in Singapore last week, I was supposed to give him a PSP but he insisted that he wanted a PS3 or playstation 3 instead. Now, he just loves it so much I have to drag him away so that I could play myself.

Dreadful Days

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

One thing I hate about Lupus is that it is very unpredictable. There are fine days that I feel fine but I also have my share of not-so-good days. These are the days that I’ve been dreading for, the days that would make my world put on a temporary hold. It is for this reason that I think having a health insurance would really make a difference. Just for your own peace of mind just in case, those bad days would turn out to be days in the hospital, I think it’s important to have some assistance so that you won’t have to worry much about your health’s financial aspect.
