I’m having so much fun here… It’s nice to be away from home and be with my friends. This holiday made me feel normal again, it’s wonderful to feel alive again. Lupus made my life temporarily on hold and I really feel bad about it but it’s days like these that I am thankful that even though I have a sickness to be worried about God is giving me so much to be thankful for. I read about a lot of bloggers ranting about their page ranks and I don’t really know much about how page ranks are crucial to any bloggers until I started pro-blogging and since this blog and my other blog Just Let Go is just nearly four months old it didn’t have a page rank then and I didn’t qualify to most of the paid blogging sites. I was also limited to take OPP (opportunities) since most advertisers want a high ranking page rank. My first blog Pieces of Me was already four years old and already has a page rank of three but bravenet has so much limitations that I don’t expect it to go any higher.

Last week, I was quite busy with my birthday celebration that I didn’t really have time to focus on my blogs. It took a blogger friend to inform me that I already have a page rank of four in my two new blogs. I was so excited that I checked it out myself and I’m really glad, I was not expecting it to go up this high and I don’t really know why but I am glad. I just don’t know why other bloggers page rank went down the drain. Does it have to do with traffic or what?

Last night while having dinner with my friends here in the bubbly Singapore, our conversation revolve around all of us being single and we were reasoning out or probably justifying the fact that we are all unattached. We’re in our thirties now and somebody said that the clock is ticking and it’s time for us to settle down. Yeah right, I honestly love being single otherwise I won’t be having as much time as I have right now to do the things that I love. Maybe we are all career-oriented women who just don’t have time to be in a relationship but my other friend said that there’s absolutely no one that interest her and of course we all want to find that “someone” someday but like I always say if it’s meant to be then no matter what it’ll come your way.

We also share the common view about meeting a prospect boyfriend, he’s just not around the corner and certainly not in our circle of environment. We need some excitement, something that will inspire us to be out there and someone that’s totally could sweep our feet away.. Okay, that’s just a metaphor but what I mean is that we need to spread our wings and circulate to be able to meet new people that can eventually be our friends or maybe even start a relationship with. Now, we just need to squeeze it up in our busy schedules.

I guess, that’s the problem in dating we need a lot of effort and it’s really time consuming and for yuppies like us, it’s really such a burden to be able to socialize and mingle to someone we don’t really like. And another thing, we are so caught up with our little world that we are missing out the fun. We just need to find a place where we could meet someone, share a common interest with and exchange thoughts and ideas on everything under the sun. So where in the world shall we find that special place, the internet…

It may sound funny and even unbelievable but I do know a lot of couples who met in a Dating Site and were able to make it through. Some of them are now married, have children on their own and it’s really amazing how love works. When they say that love comes in unexpected places that probably includes the internet. Of course, it’s risky and even scary but we need to overcome all those fears and give it a try. Who knows, maybe the one I’ve been waiting for is just somewhere out there..

I love pictures, I think its one of the best way to preserve an event in your life to make it more memorable. I was fortunate that my mom collected all my pictures even when I was still a baby and now I can see how cute I was back then. I have a snapshot with almost everything and I really like it. I always wanted to make a scrapbook of all those pictures but I just can’t find time to do it.

A few years back some of our photographs were destroyed in the flood and I had a hard time reconstructing some old photos. It’s a very long weekend and I took advantage of it by joining my friends on a holiday. We’ve been having so much fun in this beautiful Lion City and I shouldn’t be going online but I have some task assignments that I need to finish, so here I am. While my friends are busy shopping, I need to pass I just think I’ve done enough shopping and my credit card just wont take it anymore… I need to refrain myself from shopping or else I will be paying debts for the next few months. This is an impromptu trip and I almost decline but my friends insisted that it’s gonna be fun, so what the heck I do need a vacation and two more days to go and I’m glad I came here.
