Since I’ve had Lupus for almost six years now, I should have known better to avoid any unnecessary attack. But one thing about this illness is the uncertainty of it, no matter how I try to avoid it when it hits, it hits! That’s sad truth about it and what’s worse you have no idea why you are having a flare (attack). I was actually glad that I have been feeling great lately that I’ve been busy with work and socializing with my friends. I’m kinda excited planning my 30th birthday celebration on October 28th and I was thinking of having another road trip along with my college buddies and since its going to be a long weekend, we all agreed that its time to have our backpacks ready and hit the road and hopefully the weather will cooperate and we’ll have a fantastic weekend. There was so much in my mind that I had forgotten that I was actually sick, which is good because the reminder of lupus always makes me sad.

Last Friday night, I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, just when I thought I’m having some normality in my life suddenly my knees were shaking, my whole body was trembling, I collapsed and had a difficulty in breathing. Everyone was panicking again and they’re getting ready to rush me to the hospital and I told them that I just needed to rest and assured them that I’ll be alright in awhile. I just hate it when I make my family worry. While I was lying in bed, I was singing “I Adore” in my head, I close my eyes and prayed. God reminded me of this verse and I just know that things will be fine, and it did.. Thanks to God!
