The other day I received this text message: “If you want to find gratitude in this generation, you’ll have to look for it in the dictionary..”

It got me thinking, with everything that’s been happening in my life right now, am I being thankful enough to the One I owe everything with? Suddenly, I realize that sometimes I’ve been so busy with a lot of things that I tend to disregard His overwhelming presence in my life.

Today, I’m giving back the gratitude that’s due only to God…

I’m thankful that I don’t have everything that I desire, for if I did, what would there be to look forward to?

I am thankful for the difficult times, its during those times that God builds my character and helps me grow with so much strength.

I am thankful for my limitations because it gives me an opportunity to improve.

I am thankful for each mistakes that I’ve made, it taught me a lot of valuable lessons that I need to live this life.

I am thankful for my loved-ones for staying with me during tough times and for letting me appreciate what a family means.

and lastly, I am thankful for the troubles that are coming my way, for they make me look up and turn to God.. for in every heartache or sorrow there’s always a greater joy that only God can give..

God bless!

Being thankful for the trouble that comes your way…whew! I know how that feels to KNOW you will be blessed and it’s awesome.
I see you have Lupus—I’ll keep you in my prayers. My husband has rheumatoid and I have fibromyalgia and we have tons of friends w/ lupus. Not fun. Praying that you feel well.
